SEPTEMBER 2017 - IGREC INGENIERIE has sponsored Association Cites-Voutes's

IGREC INGENIERIE makes a commitment as Association Cites-Voutes’s sponsor who rehabilitates the composite material in the metropolises of the Third World, essentially for residential buildings.

This non-profit association mainly operates in Sahel’s countries, and leans on Nubian Voute’s association which forms builders with the various techniques of the Nubian vault and to the construction in earth. The put forward technique is a construction with stone and water in the form of bricks with joints in earth. This architectural process makes it possible to build earthen houses (including floors) without formwork, without scaffolding with simple techniques and tools. The materials used are local and give better thermal performance to the constructions.

Cites-Voutes's association works on the development of pilot cities to provide housing for the most disadvantaged and to improve urban by providing water and sanitation networks to these buildings.

It allows to improve the living conditions of the residents by promoting a local construction, using, little expensive materials, having a low carbon footprint and a better thermal performance than a sheet steel and blockwork wall, while developing the local employment by training.
